BRITISH LEGION WOMENS SECTION: At the monthly meeting, in the absence of Mrs P Kearsey, who was giving a talk at Eckington on her character mice, Mrs J Holder took the meeting.
After the business Terry Green was introduced and he gave an interesting talk, accompanied with slides, on hedgehogs.
He was thanked by Mrs S Brown.
Congratulations to Emma on winning the area standard bearers competition, and we wish her every success at national standard bearers competition at Bournemouth.
An outing is arranged for May 16, to Monkland Cheese Dairy.
