ATHLETICS: Amazing Feet Running Club members found a race that had beaten the foot and mouth outbreak in the Sentinel 7.

John Amos and Lindsay Pulley both travelled to Newcastle-under-Lyme with the former recording a personal best.

They took on a tough course that rose for the first three miles before offering a downhill fast finish.

Amos recorded a time of 43 minutes 51 seconds, while Pulley ran well for 59-42.
