CYCLING: Steve Burns finished second in the VTTA 10-miles time trial and Liam Preece, 14, won the Handicap Section.
Competing at Stratford-on-Avon, the Wyre Forest Cycle Racing Club members recorded 22 minutes 38 seconds and 28-40 respectively.
Other good times were recorded by club riders, Adrian Manning completing the course in 24-40, Tony Richardson 24-47, Aidan Collings 27-54 - for second prize in the Handicap section and Bill Picton 28-42.
The three veterans - Richardson, Collings and Picton - were second in their team section.
Fred Browning recorded 25-25 in the Southgate CC 10-mile trial at Little Paxton on Saturday.
The club have several new members following sponsorship from a host of local companies and members are riding in new colours.
