MALVERN Girls' College pupils, Emily Booty, age 17, Alex Dixey, 18, and Harriet Watkins, 16, have been selected for the England Junior Lacrosse B Team.
Recently, 36 triallists who were selected from territorial tournaments, competed at Oakham School for places in the England teams. The next day, after the two teams had been selected they played the England Under 21 team.
The competition was very strong for the team places and Harriet has done particularly well, as she is one of the youngest players in the team.
"The standard was very high which made it a very tiring weekend, but we are all very excited and looking forward to the home internationals in Cardiff," said Alex Dixey.
The England team is due to be playing Scotland and Wales tomorrow (Saturday) in Cardiff and we wish them good luck.
