IT took some 18 minutes before Sports scored the first goal on Saturday which came from a good ball by Adam Morse onto the head of Stu Harvey to score the first of his hat-trick.

LANGLAND SPORTS 6, LAMB & FLAG 1

Lamb & Flag gave a good display of fast running football but could not find the finishing touch with Mark Newman in fine form yet again and Steve Brooks giving a good account of himself. Gordon Mansell also had a good game on the left putting Lamb's right back under extreme pressure and bringing in the central midfield of Stuart Preece and Adam Morse. Gary Portman laid on the second for Harvey in the 38th minute but Lamb & Flag pulled a goal back before half time.

The second half started much as the first with Dean Drinkwater giving a display that saw him score two goals and have a hand in the creation of the other two goals. First he put a defence splitting pass to Adam Morse who then beat two players to lay on Harvey for his hat-trick and then gave a back heel ball that took out three Lamb & Flag players from the game for Gary Portman to cross for Gordon Mansell to score.

His second goal came from a left foot rocket of a shot 20 yards inside the keeper's left hand upright.
