SEVENTY people were evacuated from Malvern Splash after vandals smashed a poolside windows.
Police were called after a boulder was thrown at one of the windows facing Priory Park at about 6pm on Thursday, February 22.
Splash manager Graeme Maclennan said: "We had to close the pool for a couple of hours but later realised that the inner pane glass hadn't actually been smashed, although it look at first as though it had.
"It's the first time this has happened since I've been here.
"In a situation such as this the most important thing is the safety of the people in the building. Thankfully, no one was hurt.
"I don't know who did it but it was a very stupid act and potentially put a lot of people in danger."
