THANK you for printing my letter under the nebulous heading "Captain of Calais 1456-59".
Perhaps you should have added "Chamberlain of England", "Warden of the Cinque Ports" when referring to Richard Neville Earl of Warwick.
If the "Kingmaker" had helped place Henry IV on the throne, he would have been a very old man at his demise at Barnet in 1471! Perhaps you intended to put Henry VI as per my letter?
Was Henry Ford right when he said "all history is bunk"? Perhaps somebody from Worcester sent him the local paper of that era!
