MALVERN Rugby club plays host to the North Midlands U17's who will play Warwickshire U17's on Sunday.
Though not a first at this level, it is a long time since the Malvern club has hosted such a prestigious fixture.
Chris Morton both Chairman of Youth Development at the club and manager of the North Midlands Under 17's squad, said: "It is good to pull these fixtures to junior clubs and away from the big clubs like Worcester, Stourbridge, Moseley, Dudley, Kingswinford etc., who host more than their share of the representative games.
"It is another step to putting Malvern's commitment to youth development on the rugby map."
The North Midlands squad includes three local lads Liam Miller, Martin Tilley and Dan Kay, so the 'home' fixture is even more significant.
Kick off on Sunday is 2pm, all spectators are most welcome.
