COLWALL Players will be staging their latest production in the village hall, Mill Lane, next week.

The Owl And The Pussycat Went To See, written by Sheila Ruskin and David Wood for Worcester Repertory Company, is a delightful fantasy for young and old based on the nonsense poems of Edward Lear.

The Colwall Players' production is directed by Andy Howie, whose performance in the recent Malvern Theatre Players' version of The Plotters of Cabbage Patch Corner was highly rated.

He has combined the experience of members of the senior group with the enthusiasm of 14 members, aged from eight to 14, of Young Colwall Players.

It runs from Wednesday, January 31, to Saturday, February 3, at 7.30pm, with a 2.30pm matinee on the Saturday. Tickets are £5 for adults and £2.50 for under-14s.
