SOUTH Warwickshire farmers got together for a traditional British breakfast at Stratford Cattle Market this week, to celebrate the best in home produce.
The Stratford branch of the NFU joined forces with Stratford Stock Sales and Grosvener Catering to lay on bacon, sausages and eggs as part of a campaign to put British farm products back on the menu. The event was part of the Farmhouse Breakfast Campaign 2001, organised by the Home Grown Cereals Association and the Meat and Livestock Commission to encourage the people to enjoy not just bacon and eggs but also bread, porridge and muesli.
