GARDENING CLUB: Moreton Gardening Club held their first meeting of the year in the WI Hall. The chairman, Frank Sanders, welcomed the members and introduced the speaker for the evening, Mr Robinson from Bewdley, his subject being Wildlife Photography. Mr Robinson showed a selection of remarkable slides explaining how they were taken using hides and deception, sometimes over a period of weeks so as not to disturb or interfere with the natural lifestyle of the animal or bird in question. Mr Robinson's love of nature and a sense of humour was appreciated by everyone. The chairman thanked the speaker for a very enjoyable evening and reminded members that the subject for the February meeting would be an illustrated talk on the Austrian Alps.
