SENIOR citizens have delighted organisers of computer classes by their high speed dash to book a trip on the information super-highway.
Age Concern in Kidderminster has been overwhelmed by enthusiastic silver surfers at its day club in Castle Road who have queued up for lessons on how to use a computer donated by Microsoft.
Chief officer Pat Simmonds said the first three weeks of quarter hour taster sessions with volunteer teacher Paul Bourne were snapped up, especially by members of the Tulip Tree club who hope to be able to use e-mail soon.
The centre is among seven in Herefordshire and Worcestershire to receive free Microsoft computers.
