MR Willetts finds it "ironic" that "as district council leader" I bemoan the loss of accident and emergency facilities at Kidderminster Hospital while my county council added to the hospitals' load by failing to grit the roads at the time of the recent snowfalls.
Yes, I am the leader of the district council.
However, on the county council I am the only Liberal councillor and a member of the opposition.
At County Hall I have consistently opposed the cuts in funding for winter road gritting.
The leader of the county council is Labour's Carol Warren, who should carry the can for this one.
