A WHILE back you were asking readers to write in about parts of Kidderminster which they thought looked neglected.
After living here for 30 years I am sorry to say that there are now many such places, but one in particular I find most irritating.
About four years ago the Worcester Road was altered to create a cycle track and a lay-by for residents to park in.
As a cyclist I was very pleased to see this and I use the cycle track most days.
As I ride along I cannot help noticing that the gutter in the lay-by is never swept.
It has now reached the point where the drains are blocked with mud, and weeds are growing.
Over the months I have contacted various departments in an attempt to get this cleared regularly, but to no avail. I have even written to the mayor.
Sad to say the mud, weeds and at present an abandoned and vandalised car, remain.
I can't imagine what tourists/visitors must think. Can you help?
