INTERNATIONAL hockey and netball was played at Evesham High School when touring teams from Australia took on the Vale pupils.
The group of 14-18 year olds from down under were among the cream of Australian youth, being selected from national squads for the European tour.
The boy's hockey resulted in a good win for Evesham High School but the result was reversed in the girl's netball.
School spokesman Peter Milton said: "Everyone enjoyed the visit and we hope it can become a regular fixture."
