BROMSGROVE'S Conservative MP plans to bring the campaign by Worcestershire headteachers for a fairer funding deal to the attention of Prime Minister Tony Blair today.
Julie Kirkbride intends to ask at Prime Minister's Question Time why Worcestershire pupils are worth hundreds of pounds less each year than children elsewhere.
Around 200 headteachers are due to meet MPs, opposition front-benchers and possibly ministers today to appeal for an end to the inequality of funding.
Pupils in Birmingham receive on average £531 a year more for their education than Worcest-ershire children.
