PRESIDENT Elaine Hodgkinson welcomed everyone to the December meeting, including two visitors and Pat Edwards, who had recently re-joined the branch.
Elaine then announced the sad news of the death of member Peggy Smith.
Speaker Mrs Pat Wainwright then gave a talk on 'The History of Aromatherapy'.
She brought a cabinet of essential oils and gave some members a massage of the hands and forearms.
There were six lucky winners in the Grand Christmas Draw, which was then followed by the draw for the Denman Bursary. Margaret Trowmans was the recipient.
On January 3, members gathered for the annual New Year dinner.
Each member took part in a quiz, which was won by Sheila PW.
After the meal, the Ballard Singers entertained with a variety of songs, old and new.
