HEADLESS Cross were always in control with Claire Maxwell being denied three times by good goalkeeping before Janine Hamilton found Alison Johnson down the left to cut inside and beat two players before firing high into the net.
In the second half of Cross' first game for two months Elaine Frampton hit the woodwork twice and Gail Wright and Mel Potter both went close.
Neat footwork between Johnson and Hayley Wootton saw Wootton finish off in style.

The Ladies take on Shrewsbuy Town on Sunday in the League Cup (ko 2pm).
