Railway Lions 2 Henley Forest Res 1
RAILWAY kept their impressive record of nine wins in nine games, to stay six points clear at the top but for the second week running found it hard to find their form.
Henley proved hard to break down and although Railway hit the bar twice in the first half, they only managed to find the net once through Adrian Smith.
The second half was evenly matched and Henley could have snatched a deserved equaliser but eventually a great header from Henley old boy Mark Lewis made it 2-0 to give Railway some breathing space.
The hosts sat back and with ten minutes remaining Ben Oakley threw Henley a lifeline with a tap-in. Railway managed to hold on but need to improve to keep their record alive.
