FECKENHAM manager Clive Campion said the postponement of Saturday's match against Handrahan Timbers has allowed some of his injured players precious recovery time.

The league clash at the Valley was postponed because of a frozen pitch and Campion hopes to have a couple of his injury-hit squad available for the visit of Blackheath tonight (Wednesday, ko 7.30pm).

Striker Andy Underwood is back after work commitments, sweeper Justin Dankenbring has shaken off a calf injury and Andy Hawthorne is in the frame after an ankle problem.

But Campion has been hit by the loss of midfielder Carl Dainter for six weeks.

The former Alvechurch man, turned his ankle in training last week suffering ligament damage.

And midfielder Steve Taylor is three weeks from a return after a gashed knee.

The Millers visit Lye Meadow tenants Kings Heath on Saturday (ko 2.45pm) and entertain table toppers and neighbours Studley on Wednesday in the Worcestershire Senior Urn (ko 7.30pm).
