ALCESTER'S Neighbourhood Watch chairman was thrilled by the turnout to its most recent meeting.
Twenty-five people turned up to watch Insp Sarah Goodall give a presentation on the police activity in Alcester.
Chairman Bev Bevins said: "I was absolutely delighted with the large turnout on such a horrible, cold night.
"A great deal of discussion took place and it was very beneficial to everyone who attended."
Crime figures were reviewed and the advantages of the CCTV system were also discussed.
A visit is also planned for members of the Alcester Watch to go and see the CCTV centre and discover more about how it functions.
Mr Bevins also attended a talk given by John Howell, the director general of the national Neighbourhood Watch, who discussed the regional roles of the scheme and the continued funding received from Norwich Union.
