TWO schoolboys have been arrested following a double wrecking spree at a Stoke Heath museum.

As a result of further inquiries eight other arrests were made in connection with a string of other crimes in Bromsgrove.

Five air rifles and five longbows and arrows have been recovered along with a collection of 30 car badges.

The ten have all been bailed to return to Redditch police station next month while officers continue their inquiries.

Vandals first targeted an historic windmill at Avoncroft Museum earlier this month and last weekend revisited the site to inflict further damage to the interior of the exhibit.

The venue's director, Dr Simon Penn, has heard from experts that a sail on the windmill will have to be totally replaced and fears the exhibit may not be open in time for the spring season.

Bromsgrove police Sgt Jerry Reakes-Williams said: "Two adults and eight juveniles have been arrested and interviewed so far and we have several more people we want to talk to in the next few days."
