SHADOW home secretary Ann Widdecombe visited Redditch last week to officially open the new Conservative Headquarters in Birchfield road, Headless Cross.
Miss Widdecombe was shown around the building by Redditch's Conservative Prospective Parliamentary Candidate Karen Lumley and Bromsgrove MP Julie Kirkbride also attended the opening ceremony.
Miss Widdecombe then visited the Law Society to speak with the new Chief Executive.
Mrs Lumley said: "It was an excellent day. Lots of members turned up to the opening ceremony.
"And Miss Widdecombe has promised us she will come back to Redditch when the election is on."
