NEW signing Drewe Broughton will make his debut for Kidderminster Harriers in tonight's Nationwide Division Three clash with Mansfield Town at Field Mill (7.45).
The 22-year-old striker has joined Harriers on a month's loan from Peterborough with a view to a permanent £50,000 move. He will go straight into tonight's starting line-up in a bid to lift Kidderminster to their first league 'double' after beating the Stags 1-0 at Aggborough on Boxing Day.
Harriers boss Jan Molby said of his new capture: "I've made no secret of the fact that I wanted to bring Drewe here for a while. He is the type of player we have been missing this season. He's big, strong and has the ability to create chances for himself and for others."
Molby, however, will be without Ian Foster, Stewart Hadley, Scott Stamps, Ian Bogie and Dean Bennett for tonight's match. Foster, Stamps and former Mansfield campaigner Hadley all have hamstring problems while Bogie is battling a back injury.
Bennett misses the match because of a one-match suspension for picking up five bookings. Striker Foster is already ruled out for Saturday's home match with Hull City when it is hoped Stamps, Hadley and Bogie will be fit for selection.
Kidderminster (from): Brock, Clarke, Medou-Otye, Clarkson, Hinton, Shail, Horne, Bogie, Webb, Ducros, Mackenzie, Doyle, Durnin, Broughton, Bird, Davies, Corbett.
FORMCAST: Harriers have to be content with a 2-2 draw.
