EVESHAM United can climb to third place in the Dr Martens League Western Division if they win tonight's game at Atherstone United (7.45).

Victory would also put them within six points of leaders Bilston Town with a game in hand, and set up a crunch clash between the two sides at Bilston on Saturday.

Manager Phil Mullen said of tonight's game: "Victory would send out a message to our rivals that we are still in there.

"It is a vital time for all the teams at the top at the moment."

Striker Andy Hodgetts, who scored twice against Cinderford on Saturday on his comeback after rejoining the club from Halesowen Town, stands by to start as Steve Taylor is doubtful with a head wound.

Fellow front man Dean Roberts, the former Kempsey United player, is ruled out with an ankle injury, but defender Matt Pendleton returns after a one-match suspension.
