WORCESTER Rugby Club have delved into the transfer market yet again to capture centre Shaun Woof from Waterloo.
The 22-year-old three-quarter put pen to paper yesterday and then trained with his new team mates in the evening.
Liverpool-born Woof has represented England at Under 21 level and scored 16 tries during three seasons with his home town club.
He has played professional rugby league with Salford Reds, but has signed a part-time deal at Worcester and hopes to pursue a career in the fire service.
Worcester fans may remember him for scoring a try last October which helped Waterloo to a 31-26 victory at Blundellsands.
"We're really pleased to be able to welcome Shaun here to Worcester," said Sixways Director of Rugby Les Cusworth.
"We've been speaking to Shaun for many months and feel he will be a real asset to our squad."
Woof is the second player to be signed from Waterloo this season following the summer capture of another centre Mike Swetman.
