CLEOBURY Mortimer Sports Centre Basketball League Division One leaders Bewdley Slicks narrowly avoided defeat at the hands of Tenbury Tornadoes.
Bewdley sneaked a 41-35 win after the teams were locked 35-35 with under two minutes remaining.
Dean Sadler was the man of the moment for the Slicks with 15 points, while Matt Law returned to action with 13 points.
Craig Fielder, eight, and Andi Sharpe, five, completed the scoring.
In Division Two, Cleobury Magics hold top spot after beating the ever-improving Dream Team 18-12.
Captain Hylton Smith led the side with 10 points with Duncan Pearce adding six points and Tom Hiles two.
Cleobury Refugees are second thanks to their 23-16 beating of Five Foot Four inspired by Steve Morris and Kevin Gittens.
