FLADBURY Tennis Club's junior section proved unbeatable in this year's Summer League, organised by Wychavon.
The club entered an under-14 mixed team, consisting of one set of singles and a doubles, and they won four of their five matches, drawing the other.
The successful squad received the winning shield at a presentation evening and consisted of Chris Aston, Steve Aston, Kathryn Stanley, Ellen Taylor, Laura Roberts, Rachel Hobbs, Andrew Emsley, Richard Roberts, Richard Martin, James Leonard and Chris Green.
Teams from Littleton, Pershore, Ombersley, Droitwich and Inkberrow were the other squads in the area tournament.
The club has recently had two courts resurfaced and added new fencing and floodlights.
MP Michael Spicer, a member of the club, will officially open the improved facilities later this month when the hard work of club and committee will at last be recognised.
