I WOULD like to take this opportunity of expressing the appreciation of the Droitwich Spa Civic Society for the public response to the recent library exhibition of proposals for the development of the Canal Basin area.
An analysis of these responses indicates positive support for a comprehensive development of the area from 85 per cent of respondents with only 4 per cent against the idea.
The considerable interest in the proposals confirms our view of the importance to the town of early development of the Canal Basin area.
