A NURSERY is set to lose £4,000 worth of Christmas orders after decorations including painted cones and straw rings for wreaths were stolen.
Ivy Stone and Carol Woods, owners of Old Lye Nursery, Rock, had spent two months collecting 2,000 cones from the Wyre Forest and making the seasonal decorations, which are sold to wholesalers.
Raiders broke into the nursery on the A456 Tenbury Road and stole all the cones and the 500 straw rings.
Electrical goods worth £1,500 were also taken in the theft, which happened overnight on Tuesday and is the second in eight weeks and the fourth in a year at the nursery.
