MEMBERS of Tsunami, Bewdley and Kidderminster's Shukokai Karate Club attended a three-day course at the West Midlands headquarters.
Shihan Eddy Daniels, chief European instructor, gave the instructions and several Tsunami students graduated for their next belts.
All Sensei Solfrid Daniels' students passed with flying colours, especially Kara Bennett, Emily Powell and Jennie Price who received their first dan black belts.
Daniels also achieved her fourth dan black belt grading.
Adam Darby, Jed Collins, Paul Marshall and Riccardo Porteous achieved their first kyu brown belt grading, while Simon Marshall claimed his second kyu brown belt grading.
Dave Powell and William Davies received their third kyu brown belts.
Mike Ferguson received his sixth kyu green belt and Nathan Ferguson and Stephanie Hatch received their seventh kyu orange belts.
Now one of the leading shukokai karate clubs in the country, Tsunami came second to Blackheath from the National Headquarters in the recent national Kumura Cup competition.
