A TEENAGE boy was recovering today after being injured by a hit-and-run driver in Worcester.
The car driver sped off after colliding with the 14-year-old just before 8.30 last night, outside the Citroen garage in Bransford Road, St John's.
The teenager, who has not been named, did not need hospital treatment.
"Luckily the boy has escaped with very slight injuries, but is clearly shocked by the incident," said PC Ian Booth.
"The vehicle was believed to be red in colour and travelling along the Bransford Road towards the Kays factory.
"Although there are no more details I would appeal to anyone who may have seen this vehicle to contact me on 01905 723888."
