WOODRUSH were left kicking their heels at the weekend after traffic problems put an end to the planned first team fixture at Midlands Three West North side Old Halesonians.
And to complete a disappointing day for the club the seconds were well-beaten 40-10 by North Mids One outfit Stourport.
Former Midlands Three West South side Woodrush are set to entertain Hopwood-based Kings Norton in a derby day friendly on Saturday (ko 2.30pm).
And the hosts are set to welcome back wing forward Jamie Maddocks who rejoined his former team-mates a fortnight ago after joining Selly Oak in the close season.
Maddocks was set to miss out at the weekend and is gunning for a recall along with hooker Simon Kendal, second row Andy Jenkins and scrum half Toby Smith.
