MALVERN Town are still looking to strengthen the squad and have one or two players in mind.
Assistant manager, Richard Anson, said: "We have put in a seven-day approach for a player with another Banks's League Premier Division side and are in contact with a Doc Martens side about a contracted player and should be clearer on any possible deal next week. But we are not looking to radically change the shape of the squad as, despite Saturday's blip, we have only lost two of our last nine".
Malvern will visit Evesham United in the 1st Round of the Worcester Infirmary Cup, and will begin their defence of the Worcester Senior Urn with a 2nd Round home game against the winners of Pegasus and Pershore Town. Dates to be advised.
Town are still waiting to hear who they will meet in the second round of the Midland Invitation Cup, while the draws for the Banks's League Cup and Bob Biggart Trophy have still to be made.
