HUNDREDS of motorcycle enthusiasts and their machines will be heading for the Three Counties Showground, on Sunday (October 29).

The Malvern Classic Motorcycle Show is a gathering of clubs and riders as well as trade and autojumble stands.

There will be displays from clubs across the country with visits expected from the Cotswold Motorcycle Club, British Two-Stroke Club, Swindon Classic Bike Club and Leominster Bike Club.

As well as more than 100 club entries there will be many machines belonging to private individuals. These will be judged in categories, which include pre-1950, 1950s, 1960s, post-1970s and racing and off-road machines.

There will be a concours competition with prizes and trophies in all categories, plus highly-commended rosettes. There will also be best club and overall winners trophies.

Organiser Andrew Greenwood said: "This is the third year we have done it and, with two shows a year, it really is getting quite established. It's getting bigger and better each time."

The show is open from 10am to 4pm and tickets are £4 (£3 OAPs, children 7-14 £1 and under-7s free). Admission will be reduced after 2pm.
