IN a musical tribute to the musicians, bands and singers who influenced Frank Sinatra, Tony Jacobs is bringing his show The Sinatra Years to the Roses Theatre in Tewkesbury.
Although Frank Sinatra is the main focus in the show, other musicians, bands and singers who influenced him greatly are also celebrated such as Bing Crosby and Louis Armstrong, Nat King Cole and Perry Como.
Vocalist Tony Jacobs, who fronts the show, has appeared as a guest with the Pasadena Roof Orchestra and his television appearances include a guest spot with the late Roy Castle plus broadcasts with the BBC Big Band. The concert takes place on Friday, November 10 at 7.30pm. Tickets are £10,50 (£9.50 concs), available from the box office on 01684 295074.
