A NEW date has been announced for the ESO's American Celebration which was cancelled in September due to the fuel crisis.
The programme is a celebration of the country's music, from the East Coast's Broadway to the West Coast's Hollywood.
It will begin with Copland's powerful Fanfare for the Common Man and include pieces by Rodgers and Hammerstein, Leonard Bernstein and Gershwin.
William Boughton will conduct the concert, which takes place at Symphony Hall in Birmingham on Friday, November 10 at 7.30pm.
