The versatile White went into goal in the second half to let the unemployed Lewis Hooper add some beef to the attack. He promptly got on the end of an excellent pass from Jack Higgs. Further Dynamo pressure led to an unfortunate own goal. The scoring was completed by a great strike, and his first goal for the club, from Tom O'Boyle.

LEDBURY SWIFTS 4, WESTFIELDS 3

LEDBURY Swifts run of good fortune in the Under 11's league continued on Saturday with a hard fought win.

Ledbury started as if they were still in the changing rooms. Within the first minute Westfields broke on the left crossing for the forward to shoot wide. From the goal kick it was a repeat move with the Westfield striker scoring a header. Half the Swift's team had yet to touch the ball.

Five minutes gone and Ledbury made their first attack, a good ball across the box found A Sawyer free to score with a vicious shot. Swifts struggled to get to grips wit the game conceding two further goals in the next ten minutes.

Half time couldn't come quick enough and after a serious team talk the Swifts played the second half like a different team. In the first minute M Widdow ran into the box to shoot and score off the bar. Swifts' defence shut up shop with Westfields having no attempts on goal. Then two decisive runs out of defence by V Thomas led to goals for L Bishop and A Savager.

The management were delighted by the Swifts' players attitude and spirit to keep playing and get a result.
