MALVERN RADAR 1,

ARCHDALES 2

RADAR put in a spirited performance against a very well organised Archdales side but still lost this Bayliss Cup match by the odd goal in three.

The visitors started brightly but it was Radar who took the lead when Anthony Arnold raced through and scored with an excellent chip over the advancing Don Faulkner.

Chris Golding then had a similar chance but this time the Dales keeper saved well.

Mike Hartshorne the Archdales' midfielder, was making some fine runs and he wrong footed a couple of players before blasting in the equaliser from the edge of the box.

Radar fought back and were unlucky when Dave Cooper lost his footing when well placed.

The second half was rather scrappy although the visitors always looked the likely winners and it was Lee Seldon, who had a good game up front, who snatched the winner in the 73rd minute.
