IN response to your front page of the Ledbury Reporter, October 6, I wrote a letter to the Superintendent at Ledbury Police Station and, to date, have not received a reply.
Ledbury is a fast-growing town and will need an increasing police interest and presence. It is encouraging that two of our town councillors are demanding greater police supervision of areas in the town which are causing concern to local residents.
It might be more helpful if all our town councillors put their names in a united effort to demand of the police that vandalism will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Otherwise, it is quite clear from the statement made by Sgt Wilson that the police are not interested in minor offences.
