AN award-winning Wyre Forest hotel is maintaining its French connection with the arrival of a new chef who hails from across the Channel.
The Brockencote Hall Hotel, set in 70 acres of parkland at Chaddesley Corbett, has welcomed Jerome Besancon to take charge of its kitchens.
Mr Besancon, originally from Brittany, has moved from the Charlton House Hotel near Bath.
Brockencote owners Joseph and Alison Petitjean believe their new chef will blend in well with the authentic French atmosphere that they strive to create.
"We're known as being a little piece of France in the heart of England and Jerome joining us will ensure that authenticity is continued in our restaurant," they said.
