DEBATING SOCIETY: On Saturday members will debate: This house believes that scientific knowledge is compatible with belief in God.
The Rev Dr Margaret Yee, chaplain of Nuffield College, Oxford, and a minister of the United Reform Church will propose the motion, seconded by the Rev Simon Oberst, Vicar of St James's Church, Chipping Campden.
The motion will be opposed by Mr John Sutton from Evesham, and another member of the Cotswold Humanist Society.
The debate will be held in the Upper Town Hall, High Street, at 8pm. Coffee is served at the end of the debate. New members and visitors are most welcome.
