THERE was a good turnout for Fladbury Cricket Club's presentation evening.

The first team had a poor season with only four league wins. The second team had a good season winning nine of their fixtures, losing four and finishing runners-up in the league.

Awards were made to - First XI: Batting, Andrew Revell who had a top score and career best of 117 not out; bowling, John Martin who took 39 league wickets at an average 12.66; fielding, John Horton; Players player, John Martin.

Second XI: Batting, James Martin who scored his maiden century and averaged 45.6; bowling: Tony McLean whose league wickets cost an average of 12.0 with a season's best of 4-10; fielding, James Martin; players player, James Martin. The Duck Cup: Simon Purfield.

Club Man of the Year, Mick Phipps for his contribution towards the running of the second eleven and for his work in preparing match wickets. Thanks were also given to Richard Martin for keeping the outfield in superb condition and to Simon Purfield for his sterling work as club secretary.
