VALE first school pupils have been sampling the sights, sounds and tastes of India.

At Pinvin First School they tucked into naan bread and Indian nibbles last Thursday thanks to Shakeey from Evesham Balti House who laid on a wonderful Indian spread.

They also visited Hindu and Sikh temples and a multi-racial school.

At Honeybourne first school children made a traditional sweet, received Indian visitors and listened to traditional music.

It was all part of an Indian week to teach children about different nationalities and their cultures.
