Salford Rovers U-10 1

littleton enjoyed most of the possession in the first half, but were unable to break through until Ryan Clarke's cross found Ben Johns whose shot flew into the roof of the net.

Salford came out in a more determined mood in the second half and were rewarded when Tom Waghorn's long range free kick eluded the Littleton keeper.

Littleton regained the lead when Matt Taylor's inch perfect ball picked out Johns to score his second.

Littleton finally seemed to get a grip on the game and Matt Goss and Tom Cuthbert worked an opening for Johns to complete his hat-trick. Matt Smith's cross then picked out Johns to crash a shot in off the post to complete the scoring.

Swan Lane U-10 6, Littleton Colts 1

Ed Parn opened the scoring when the Littleton defence failed to clear and he went on to score three more goals.

Littleton caught Swan Lane napping with a quickly taken free kick.

Will Vaughan rounded off a good display with the final goal, but Jordan Shelton, who earlier scored from the spot, took the man of the match award with a great performance on the left wing.

Bredon U-9 5, Littleton Colts 5

Littleton opened the scoring with goals at ten and 15 minutes. Bredon responded to level the game.

The second half saw Bredon take the lead with Littleton chasing the game throughout. A late break earned Littleton an equaliser four minutes from the end.

Vale Youth U-13 5, Welland 2

VALE started with a goal on six minutes from Russell Hawtree.

This was countered with a fine solo volley from Welland. Solid play saw Ben Metrovich crash home a shot from an acute angle, but with a ball over the top of the defence and a one on one situation Welland won the race with the keeper to draw level at half time.

Vale re-organised in the second half and Mark Bellamy scored a brace. A well-struck shot from the edge of the area saw Harry Coughlin open his account.

Evesham United U-13 0

Norton Rangers 2

An injury saw Norton put the ball into touch so treatment could be carried out. From the re-start Evesham threw the ball to Norton and a solo run from Ashley Knight caught Evesham off guard and a deflected shot found the back of the net.

The second half saw Evesham pressing, but they were unable to find real penetration. Norton had many chances to score, but it took some good interplay to put Shane Turley into space to score after 60 minutes. Man of the match for Norton was Dan Cotterill.

Drakes Broughton 11

FOUR goals in the first ten minutes saw the visitors take control against a spirited home team.

Eventually Littleton were rewarded with a well-taken goal and a magnificent save by James Everett prevented a further score. The visitors, with man of the match Steve Edwards in dominant form, scored again just before and after the interval before two late consolation goals rewarded the home side's efforts.

Drakes Broughton scorers were Lea Miller (5), Steve Cutts (2), Chris Stokes (2), Chris Lambert and Ben Upfield.

Peopleton Tigers 3

A goalmouth scramble gave the Tigers the lead, but a superbly struck free kick from Jack Dell put Littleton back on level terms.

Tigers went ahead again with Will Worthington heading home from a corner, but Daniel Hartland equalised by slotting home a parried save by the Tigers keeper.

Another set piece allowed Tigers Richard Emsley to head home from a free kick just before the interval.

A fiercely fought second half saw Tigers defending their lead against strong Littleton pressure.

Newtown U-13 2, Peopleton 0

With a downward slope to their advantage Peopleton attacked from the start. A breakaway goal after ten minutes gave the home team the advantage.

Some fine individual play meant the score remained the same until just before half time when Newtown increased their lead. The second half saw more solid defending, together with some well-built attacking moves.

Drakes Broughton U-9 1

Elmley Castle 2

Upfield opened the scoring for Drakes Broughton.

After a period of Elmley pressure Smaylen equalised following good support play from Dawson.

The second half saw many chances for both sides. A fine run and chip over the Drakes Broughton goalkeeper saw Scarrett put Elmley ahead.

The home side continued to press for the equaliser, but the Elmley defence of Baker, Airdrie, George and Mills held firm assisted by Walters in goal who made a series of outstanding saves.

Charlton Rovers Blues U-11 8

Badsey Rangers 4

Badsey were caught cold and found themselves 3-0 behind after 12 minutes.

In the 18th minute Marcus Humpston pulled a goal back, only for Charlton to score a further two to make the half time score 5-1.

In the second half Badsey fought hard to salvage some pride. Jamie Clarke scored their second goal within three minutes of the restart. However, Charlton came back strongly and scored three further goals.

This stirred Badsey into a mini-revival and Jamie Clarke scored Badsey's third and his second, closely followed by a fourth from Pete Heyes. Man of the match for Badsey was Jamie Clarke.

Stratford Colts U-11 1

Evesham United Robins 5

Ben Bearcroft opened the scoring, with the second coming from James Crenan.

Man of the match Merlin Winterton added the third. Stratford pulled a goal back early in the second half and were on top for a while until goals from Daniel Paul and James Walters sealed the game for Evesham.

Evesham United U-13 0

Norton Rangers 2

NORTON were the visitors for this top of the table local derby.

The visitors started the game well and kept pushing Evesham back. Evesham relied on breaks, but they did not come often. Norton took the lead with an own goal after a cross from Ashley Knight with James Dovey heading into his own net. Evesham kept looking for the equaliser, but Norton proved too strong and finished the game off with a finely taken goal by S Turley.

Mahal Warriors U-15 0

Evesham Colts 8

THE Colts travelled to Birmingham on Sunday to play their higher graded opponents Mahal Warriors in the Central Warwickshire League Shield.

Andy Smith took advantage of some slack defending to set Evesham on their way. Will Fowler then scored from 25 yards. The home side then fought back, but the Colts defence of Smith, Neale, Thould and Hodges had all the answers to the attack. A one-two between Stone and Smith on the edge of the box, left the latter to extend the lead.

Minutes later under pressure from Mark Lewis, Singh turned the ball past his own keeper to put the Colts 4-0 up at half time.

The Colts eased off in the second half. Mahal came more into the game and Gledhill had to be alert to keep out some long range efforts. Andy Smith then completed his hat-trick, before leaving the field to allow Ross Quiney to enter the fray. He made an immediate impact when he stabbed the ball in from close range.

Rob Stone finished the scoring with a run leaving two defenders in his wake before scoring at the near post. The match was sponsored by Michael J White.

Badsey Rangers U-13 4

YMCA 2

Sam Linley opened the scoring for Rangers after 12 seconds, when from kick-off Antonio Vernaschi put him through behind the YMCA defence to slot home a fine goal.

Rangers then went in front from a Tom Willmott goal. The visitors reduced the arrears only for it to be cancelled out by Sam Linley's second.

In the second half YMCA missed several chances with Rangers defence holding firm. Man of the match, Rangers keeper Scott Virgo, made some fine saves.

Sam Linley completed his hat-trick with Rangers fourth. With only a few minutes remaining YMCA scored their second.
