IT was a day of shocks in the second round of the Tewkesbury Sports Knockout Cup with three division one teams losing to lower division sides to leave only four division one teams in the last 16 of the competition.

Third division Willersey led the way, goals from Beale and Hands defeated Inkberrow.

Martin Schembri hit a hat-trick for Badsey Rec and further goals from Hill and Moore accounted for Tewkesbury Town.

A double from Hunting and a goal from Basham saw Ashton past Mickleton Rangers.

Both Evesham WMC teams progressed, the first team squeezed past Bretforton Old Boys with two goals from Matt Print and the reserve side defeated Blockley Sports with goals from Perry (2), Steeds (2), Spencer and Williams. Paul Keyte netting twice for Blockley.

A Lee Tustin hat-trick helped Offenham Rovers to an extra time win over Lower Moor United and cup favourites Bretforton VIC defeated Red Horse with goals from Reeves, Wilde, Gregory and Greenwood.

After 22 league games without a point, division four's Haven Harriers are celebrating their first ever victory. Goals from Collins (3), Richmond and Hemming overcame previously undefeated Ambassador.

Broadway United Reserves continued their good league form with victory at Mountinneers with goals from Annis (2) and Crowley, with Simpson hitting two for the Mount.

Wicks hit a hat-trick for improving Servicemens as they defeated Ashton Reserves. Tewkesbury Town Reserves and Salford Rovers shared the spoils.

Defford/Besford United accounted for Crown Athletic with goals from Guscott, Alcock, Ballard, Swinbourne and Andrews.

Two goals from Matt Winter took Moreton Wanderers clear at the top of division one with victory at Upton Snodsbury. Bredon gained their first league success of the season, a Christian goal defeating Pebworth.

In division two Peopleton continued their promotion push, doubles from Smith and Petersen defeated Fairfield Flyers. Ilmington Rangers remain pointless losing at Hospital Club who scored through Hemming (2), Smith and Gibbons. For the second time this season division three Stratford Yates shared ten goals this time with Broadway United.

Littleton gained a rare success with a home win over Honeybourne, the home side's goals coming from Paul, Beard and Brittain.

League leaders Swan Sports lost their perfect record losing out to bottom placed Shipston Sports and a Houghton hat-trick helped Trumpeteers to a comfortable victory at Riverside.
