DAVID Lock's remarks ("War of Words, Shuttle, October 12), cannot go unchallenged.
I was present at the disputed meeting with Mr Lock and I totally agree with Councillor Oborski's recollection of events as subsequently presented in his statement to council.
I believe that it is only Mr Lock's obsession with getting the council to "ease off" over the hospital which is endangering relations between MP and council.
Mr Lock can be assured that we will continue to campaign flat out to restore services at Kidderminster Hospital and to deliver first rate local council services with or, as now seems likely, without him.
