ATHLETICS: Robin Sedmen-Smith was the first Kidderminster Running Club member to complete the Worcestershire Beacon Multi-Terrain race at Malvern, achieving sixth place in 35 minutes 37 seconds.
Sedmen-Smith was followed by Paul Thornton in 32nd place in 39-43, Sue Howarth 43-21, Alan Wright 48-11 and Mike Hudson 49-47.
Steve Gould was first for the club and 18th overall at the Stroud half-marathon on Sunday, completing the run in one hour 12-35.
Steve Smith recorded 1-16-49 and Gary Bonner a personal best of 1-25-32.
Gary Warrington recorded 1-27-20 and Peter Cluitt, in his first attempt at this distance, 2-5-0.
There were over 1,000 runners competing.
Howarth was the first to finish for Kidderminster and 10th lady overall in the Dursley Cross Country event on Saturday.
Her time was 28-49 and Ruth Finney was 25th lady in 31-20.
Bonner was the only club member to contest the South Shropshire Sprint Triathlon.
The race began with a 400m swim, followed by a 20km bicycle ride and a 5km road race.
Bonner finished in 1-26-19 for 66th overall.
