HOCKEY: Chaddesley Corbett threw away victory and two vital points in the DTZ League at Sutton Coldfield with Dave Greenhouse turning from hero to villain in a 2-2 draw.
The villagers dominated the match after taking an early lead as Greenhouse scored following a decisive pass from Elliot Mack.
But they then missed a hatful of easy chances and Sutton took advantage of their good fortune to sneak a goal only for man of the match Jon Hart restored the lead with a rasping shot from the edge of the D.
However, in the last minute of the match with victory seemingly assured, Greenhouse gave away possession to allow Sutton in to level the scores.
Chaddesley are recruiting new players. If interested, contact Julian Fallows on 01299 403613.
