PRIMARY school pupils from around Shipston have had a sporting introduction to life at Stour Valley School.
Students studying for a GCSE in PE organised a day of sporting events for youngsters from seven nearby primary schools - Ilmington, Compton District, Newbold and Tredington, Shipston, Brailes and Tysoe.
Boys and girls went up to the big school to take part in an afternoon of football and netball contests last week.
The event also helped to introduce the youngsters to pupils from other schools who could well be their future classmates.
